Louisa Adare cloned herself. Ava, her clone, was very loyal, and good thing since Louisa got killed. Ava worked on resurrecting her mother and continuing to pass on her mother's fine genes via cloning. Some sort of "extra" DNA got into the mix in one case (non-human DNA) and one of Ava's daughter's is half-alien and a nice shade of blue. Louisa's return as a ghost was celebrated with her creating a robot. A mummy and vampire complete the grandchildren and the mummys friend became a real girl
