Miriam Thinwhistle lives with her niece, Captain Marigold Pennywise, and her two cats. The sweet-natured Blossum and the Egyptian Mau named Cleopatra that was a gift from Mari after one of her many trips overseas. Mari is captain of the Intrepid, a fabulous air ship (Legacy Class) with steam punk details. Blossum and Cleo's kittens are all grown (Mari KNEW Aunt Miriam wouldn't find new homes for them) and Salty likes to go on Mari's voyages sometimes.
